Governor Roy Cooper Declares State of Emergency For Coronavirus

Executive Order 116 – Issued March 10, 2020

Declared a State of Emergency regarding the outbreak of coronavirus in the state. Such a declaration provides increased flexibility for the government’s response efforts (much like when such declarations are made in storm situations).  This order also puts North Carolina’s price gouging law into effect.  Information from the Attorney General on this law is available
